Our Commitment To A Better Experience

By Tim Hassell

We understand that being a landlord today requires a bit more attention to detail and organisation. Our aim is to continually improve our service to support your needs as they change and are pleased to introduce our landlord compliance tracker to you. After a tenant has been secured, we have noticed that many of our clients that manage their own properties need extra support.

The Compliance Tracker,

Over the last 5 years, there has been an increase in the level of compliance needed to be a landlord. This means getting organised and adjusting the way that you work to ensure that you meet your legal responsibilities has become more important than ever.

It is easier to be compliant when you have a new tenant about to move in, we provide a natural check point with our requirements as your agent, but for many who manage their own properties, ongoing compliance can be a real headache. Our new tracker has been designed to remind you and to allow our staff to stay on top of the support that so many need.

Take a look at the main features of our tracker below and feel free to get in touch if you have any questions.

All on your Portal

You can now view all certificates and check your expiry dates by simply logging on to your portal www.drakerportal.co.uk/login.php. On your home page select “certificates and compliance” and you will see an easy-to-read status and expiry date of each certificate. Next to any expiring certificates, you will see an option to either upload or order a new one with the Draker team. One that is in date and one that is expiring.

Receive reminder emails

You will receive an email 30 days before the expiry of any certificate and will continue to receive a reminder weekly until your certificate has expired.

Renew certificates automatically

On each reminder email you will see the option to book and pay for a new certificate. When complete, our team will jump into action and co-ordinate a contractor to carry out the check, arrange access with your tenant and will follow through until we have a new certificate for you. We will also co-ordinate any necessary works as a part of our service.

Support calls to follow up

Within the last 30 days of each certificate expiring, we will also call you to see if we can do anything support you with the renewal of your certificate. You can opt out of this support service at any time but please be mindful that we are here to try to keep you on the right path to easy, stress free compliance.
